Welcome, Mirpur Development Authority was established through Mirpur Development Authority Ordinance (Later Act) 1974. The Authority is the successor of the Allotment of Land Committee created in 1964. The basic objective of its establishment was the rehabilitation of the Mangla Dam Affectees by the Planning and Development of the specified areas of District Mirpur within the framework of a Regional Development Plan.

The Authority has done wonderful work in the rehabilitation of Mangla Dam affectees, as well as the planning and development of the Mirpur City. The Authority, since its inception ,has made over 35000 allotments of the plots, along with completion of many Development Schemes(Construction of Mirpur Cricket Stadium,Bhatto Public Park,View Point Park, Mian Mohammad Baksh Public Library, Children Park, Traffic Signals, street lights etc).

Timely planning and execution of housing projects by MDA has nicely met the housing requirments  in  the Mirpur District. The Authority is actively engaged to cater for the future needs of housing  and development of  the City.
